Activities in campus

2024 YCMC Show Time

ix students took part in YCMC Show Time at lunch recess on 24th October, 2024. They were 2D Oscar Ho, 3A Gemma Cheung, 3B Sophie Lin, 3E Jason Poon, 4A Bella Ng and 6B Hayley Lam. They performed their solo verses that will be performed in the coming Speech Festival competition. Their performance was excellent!

Spelling Games

It is conducted by English Ambassadors before each exam. If students spell the word correctly, they can get a stamp from English Ambassadors. After they have finished the game, they can get a gift from their English teacher.

English Speaking Day and E-shop Activities

• English Speaking Day is held every Wednesday. All English teachers use English as the medium of instructions inside or outside classrooms.
• Students are encouraged to speak English to teachers and English Ambassadors. Then they can get a stamp. After they have collected TEN stamps in Shall We Talk booklet, they can get ONE E-Ticket from English teachers.
• After collecting a certain amount of E-Tickets, students can redeem E-Tickets for a prize at E-Shop during lunch recess.

English Day

There are lots of English activities on English Day.

• Speak English to everyone and get stamps on English Day Passport
• Play board games with classmates
• Play stall games with English Ambassadors
• Perform in a variety show
• Watch an English drama
