Space Town Literacy Programme in P.1-3

• The Space Town Literacy Programme is implemented with the help of the Advisory Teacher from NET Section. Units of Work are closely linked to the grammar items and structures in the English Language Education Key Learning Area Curriculum Guide (ELE KLACG). It helps develop students’ learning skills and metacognitive skill. It also helps students to become self-directed learners and caters for learner diversity.

Reading and Writing Workshops in P.4-6

• We incorporate e-learning into our school-based programme. E-storybooks with matched themes are carefully chosen and a variety of reading and writing tasks are carried out. Specific language focuses are matched with our textbooks.
• Specific reading and writing skills for each level are explicitly taught in reading and writing lessons. Graded and theme-based reading (with various text types and reading strategies) and writing resources such as worksheets with different levels are designed to cater for learners’ diversity.
